Athletics
We aspire to develop skilled student-athletes with strong character. Our strong athletics program fosters physical health, teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship.
Our CJDS Rams have the opportunity to compete in a variety of team and individual sports. With a successful track record of cross country, flag football, basketball, and volleyball, our teams have represented CJDS in competitive play at over 25 schools and have competed in athletic events against more than 40 local schools. CJDS hosts other schools for league games. With the addition of a home court, the Rams now enjoy playing games in the company of a community of friends and family to support them.
What Sets Our Athletics Program Apart
- Students develop a breadth of athletic experiences by participating in sports teams new and familiar to them.
- Every student is welcome to compete and will receive ample playing time.
- Our coaches are also our teachers so they know our students well. This helps coaches cultivate character development and individual strengths across disciplines.
