As is the CJDS tradition, a highlight of the last day of school is the Step Up Ceremony. Each grade matriculates to the next grade by leaving their row of seats, high fiving the Grade 8 graduates, and then sitting down in the row labeled for their grade in the fall. The ceremony is a lovely way to culminate the year and build excitement for the fall.
