Grades 4 and 5 are partnering with Sharsheret on Wednesday, February 12 for Pink Day! Sharsheret, a national non-profit organization, improves the lives of Jewish women and families living with or at increased genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer through personalized support and educational outreach. While their expertise is in supporting young women and Jewish families affected by breast and ovarian cancer, Sharsheret’s programs serve all women and men.
To raise awareness and funds, students in Grades 4 and 5 are organizing a Pink Lemonade and Sticker Sale on February 12. With a $2 donation, each student will receive a cup of pink lemonade and a sticker. Sharsheret Pink Day is a global initiative led by students, communities, and organizations to raise awareness of breast and ovarian cancer through education and fundraising events. CJDS students are encouraged to wear pink to show their support and take part in this worldwide movement.
Thank you in advance for helping CJDS support Sharsheret’s important mission!
