The CJDS Rams capped off their season with a hard-fought 4th-place finish in the conference tournament. The team’s tournament run began with an unforgettably thrilling double-overtime victory against Chiaravalle, showcasing their resilience and determination.
In the quarterfinals, the Rams faced top-seeded Solomon Schechter in a game that was a battle from start to end. The lead changed hands multiple times as both teams fought for control, but in the final moments, CJDS fell just short, losing by a single point in a heartbreaking finish.
Competing for 3rd place, CJDS faced Hillel Torah and struggled early, ending the first half down 20-1. However, the Rams refused to back down, mounting an impressive second-half comeback to cut the deficit to just six points in the fourth quarter. Despite their relentless effort, the Flames managed to hold on in the closing moments.
While the final results weren’t what the team had hoped for, the season was filled with growth, perseverance, and valuable lessons. The Rams are already looking ahead to next year, ready to build on their progress and come back even stronger!
