CJDS Families Hop From Sukkah to Sukkah!

We were honored to welcome CJDS Grandparent Etty Dolgin, Director of Education at Moadon Kol Chadash, along with her family at today's Kabbalat Shabbat.

On Thursday night, our dynamic Parent Committee organized another community-building CJDS Sukkah Hop! Thank you to parent organizers Michelle Karagodin, Caroline Musin Berkowitz, and Ariel Tesher, as well as all the host families, for welcoming many families into their sukkot. If there’s a holiday truly suited for Chicago Jewish Day School, it's this one! Our families eagerly embrace opportunities to make others feel at home, to learn more about each other, including shared similarities and differences that distinguish us. Welcoming ushpizin (guests) into a sukkah is considered a mitzvah, and we couldn't ask for a warmer and more welcoming community to fulfill this mitzvah!
