Middle School students recently helped clean up Clark Park by collecting trash. Working with the Friends of the Chicago River, they used trash pickers and filled bags to keep the park tidy. As the guide explained, plastics and other litter that wash from the paths and grass into the Chicago River harm the river's health and ecosystem. Everyone enjoyed pitching in and helping our community, highlighting the importance of Tikkun Olam - making the world a better place.
