On Tuesday, January 21, all students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to wear clothing with Hebrew words to celebrate Hebrew Language Day, which is an Israeli holiday that honors the birthday of Eliezer Ben Yehuda, known as the father of modern spoken Hebrew. We thank our Hebrew teachers and Shinshinim Achinoam and Uri for the many activities they've led to amplify excitement and appreciation for Hebrew throughout the grades. There is even more to look forward to on Tuesday with special surprises in store, including a party for the class who wears the most Hebrew!
