Kol hakavod to Alum Noah Silvers ('18) who qualified for the Junior World Fencing Championship in Serbia where Team USA also won Gold! Noah, currently a sophomore at Notre Dame University, is among the top four fencers under 20 years old who qualified to represent Team USA and is the only fencer from the Midwest to ever make the men's team! Noah has won one of the two junior men's tournaments this season, finished second in the other, and third at an international tournament in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Noah had the pleasure of watching an Israeli win an Olympic qualifier two weeks ago in Doha, listening to Hatikvah, and seeing the Israeli flag flying freely there. The L.A. Olympics are within reach for Noah, and we will continue to follow his remarkable fencing journey!
