Yasher koach to Grade 7 student Nadav for using his Bar Mitzvah as a platform to raise funds for Hatzalah, a non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Services organization that provides fast and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah's service is available to all people regardless of race, religion or national origin. Nadav's original fundraising goal was to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of one medic bag. He exceeded his goal and raised over $15,000, which he proudly announced on a WGN segment on Monday morning.
