On Friday we celebrated the holiday of Simchat Torah, the holiday when we express joy and celebrate another year of learning Torah. Our Grade 8 students read from the end of the Torah, parshat Zot HaBracha, and our Grade 1 students helped start us again by reading the beginning of the Torah, parshat Beresheit. Our students and teachers danced around the Torah and we ended with a special bracha/blessing, under a tallit, for our students.
