At Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday, Sept. 22, CJDS will welcome the well-known and well-loved children's author, Ellen Leventhal. Ellen lives in Houston, TX and has written many children's books, including many about stories of empathy, hope, and empowerment. Her book "Debbie's Song" is about the influential and respected Jewish singer-songwriter, Debbie Friedman. We eagerly await her visit!
