Throughout the last several months JK has engaged in a study of nature. Students went on nature walks, explored items from nature, engaged in art related to nature, and cooked with herbs and spices, among other experiences. To culminate this study, the JK class and their families were invited to participate in several provocations related to their nature study. They planted herbs in pots, designed wire flowers, and walked through the JK Art Gallery, inspired by nature walks and plants in the JK classroom. Students then beautifully sang some of their favorite songs from the year!
