The Walder Innovation Lab is a dynamic space where curiosity becomes creation.
Designed for exploration across science, technology, engineering, art, and math, the lab allows students to imagine, design, build, test, revise, and bring their ideas to life.
Hands-On Learning Across the Grades
Students engage with the Walder Innovation Lab throughout their CJDS journey. Younger students explore through open-ended building and play, while older students tackle coding, engineering, design, and collaborative problem-solving.
Learning Through the Design Process
Here, students discover that meaningful learning can involve trial and error. They are encouraged to ask questions, test possibilities, rethink their approach, and try again.
Innovation Through a Jewish Lens
The lab connects modern tools and creative thinking with Jewish learning. Students might apply electrical circuits to design a Hanukkah project, blending science, creativity, and Jewish learning.
Creating Tomorrow's Innovators
Through coding, building, and design challenges, students develop creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for the future.
