Our Grade Three students kicked off the end-of-the-year culminations this past school year with their
Kabbalat Torah ceremony. The students have been studying and practicing the prayers during their morning
tefillah service and held a ceremony for their families and friends to culminate their Grade Three year at CJDS. With their parents, they were brought under the
chuppah and each of them read from the
Torah. Following the ceremony, the students held a Chicago fair where each of them created a historical landmark in the city of Chicago. They reported on their landmark and shared more information through a newsletter, story and much more. In addition to this annual tradition of their
Kabbalat Torah and Chicago fair culmination, they held a
chumash learning session with their parents to learn more about what they read from the
Torah.
We are very proud of the Grade Three students for their beautiful culmination!
