Belong to something extraordinary.
From the moment you step on campus, you will feel it: Your child belongs here.
Thank you for your interest in Chicago Jewish Day School! We are thrilled to welcome students and families for the 2026-2027 academic year. Watching our students engage joyfully in learning and collaborate with their peers and teachers is incredible and something I can’t wait for you to see.
Our diverse and caring community fosters joyful learning in an inspiring Jewish environment. At Chicago Jewish Day School, we educate the whole child by integrating General and Judaic Studies through an experiential model that emphasizes social-emotional development and sparks a lifelong love of learning.
Our nationally recognized educators guide students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 in deep, relevant, and multidisciplinary learning, helping them to think critically and understand who they are as learners. We are committed to preparing the next generation of thoughtful leaders who care about their community, engage with diverse voices, build meaningful connections, and support Jewish communities and Israel.
To learn more, schedule an in-person tour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 8:45 a.m. I look forward to meeting you, sharing our educational philosophy, and showing you why your child and your family will thrive at Chicago Jewish Day School.

The staff is so supportive, and children are free to be children; learning is an organic byproduct of leaning into children’s curiosity. Cannot recommend enough.
