Inquiry-based learning ignites students’ curiosity and allows their ideas to soar! All year long, Kindergarten students have been immersed in caring for their class pets, Beardy and Snowflake. Last week, several students decided to set up and open an animal clinic in the classroom, which evolved into a study on veterinarians and how they take care of animals of all shapes and sizes. This week, students have been busy creating a variety of tools they believe would be helpful for a veterinarian to have at the ready. We can't wait to see how their amazing ideas continue to grow within this unit of learning!
