On Wednesday, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students were treated to a visit from artist Ryan Tova Katz! After showing interest in many art forms, which led to a bus field trip last week to see Ryan's murals around the city, students were delighted to meet her in person. Ryan answered questions such as what her art process is like, what her favorite art pieces are, and how she feels when she creates her different paintings. The visit culminated with the students making personalized canvas tiles that will be put together to create one art piece for the wall outside their classrooms.
