A recap by Coach Bryce...

Monday's basketball game against Solomon Schechter was the prime example of a "Team First" mentality. The Grade 7 and 8 Boys Team approached the game with a mindset of togetherness. Led by our Grade 8 players, the team got off to an early lead and never looked back. With a defense first approach, the Rams were able to control the tempo of the game, as well as get the open looks we needed. I am pleased with our start to the season and look forward to the continued growth throughout the season. I hope with our first home game approaching November 29th against a solid Arie Crown team, CJDS students and faculty will come to check out this special group of young men as they prepare to defend home court.  

As a side note, we are introducing a Student Section this year on the stage where we would love for the students to show up and cheer on all three of our teams. I am proud of the atmosphere we're creating and I appreciate the support of this community. Hope to see you all Wednesday, November 29th for the big game!
