Grade 3 students are thrilled to introduce their science unit, "Structures of Life," where they have been embarking on an exciting journey into the fascinating world of living organisms. In this unit, students started with a deep dive into the world of seeds and growing bean plants. They also welcomed hermit crabs into the classroom family. The crabs, Shelley and George, have found a very loving home in Grade 3! Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, students are exploring the remarkable structures and adaptations that enable life to flourish. 

This unit ignites scientific inquiry and critical thinking and is designed to inspire students' curiosity, enhance their scientific understanding, and foster a deep appreciation for the intricacies of the natural world.
