While the Grade 8 students were in Israel this week, together with their Hebrew teachers Julia Grinberg and Nitsan Heimer, Grade 7 students learned more facts about Jerusalem. They explored the city through the song "הנה אני בא" by הדג נחש (Hadag Nahash), which provided a unique and modern perspective on the ancient city. To wrap up the unit, students baked Jerusalem-style bagels to bring the taste of Jerusalem right into the classroom.
