In Grade 7 Humanities classes, Morot Claudia Edwards and Jennifer Saba began the year reading poems. Poetry gives students the opportunity to explore reading and writing in an unfamiliar way, to employ literary terms, to practice literary analysis, and to discover that poet that lurks within them all.
