The eagerly awaited Grade 3 Human Body unit has officially kicked off! One of the highlights of this unit is the opportunity for parents who are healthcare professionals to share their expertise with the students. Last week, Neili Glotter, a Grade 3 parent and NICU nurse, spoke to the grade. Students were engaged listeners as they learned about the importance of a NICU. Afterwards, they had the chance to apply their newfound knowledge by using the instruments Neili brought with her on baby dolls and on each other.
