CJDS Parent Dr. Ariel Gliksberg visited Grade 3 this week in connection to their Human Body unit and shared important parts of his job as a pediatrician. He brought in materials that allowed students to look inside of each other's ears and hear each other's hearts and lungs. They talked about the immune system and how to stay healthy, the respiratory system, and the integumentary system. Students had a blast exploring the human body through hands-on activities that further sparked their interest in health and medicine. They also loved asking him many questions about different illnesses and how they impact the body. Todah rabah to Dr. Gliksberg!
