Grade 3 Hebrew Teacher Levana Freund brought her students' study of the Bible to the classroom through everyone's favorite type of experiential learning - food! Students had been learning about the types of food people ate in the time of the Bible while studying Neot Kedumim, the Biblical Landscape Reserve in Israel, located between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. On Thursday, students were excited to eat some of the food found in the reserve that the characters in the Bible they've been studying enjoyed.
