Learning to Think Like Scientists in Grade 2
  • Lower School
  • Science

Grade 2 science students are developing their investigative skills by exploring the properties of common materials such as plastic, wood, and cloth. By making observations with their five senses, students enhance scientific skills, including curiosity, observation, and critical thinking. They observed and described how each object looked, felt, sounded, and smelled, while also practicing new vocabulary. As a class, students shared their discoveries and created a collaborative word list to deepen their understanding of solids.
