Grade 7 students are off to a strong start in Judaic Studies! Students began by reviewing elements of COMDaT, a method for breaking down the structure of a mishna (a piece of Rabbinic teaching). Combining their COMDaT skills and background information about Toshba (Rabbinic literature), students created board games to help their peers demonstrate their knowledge! From COMDaT-Land to Bingo to Sorry!, students are busy preparing for their Mishna Marathon, leading up to the High Holidays, where they will study mishnayot about Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
