As part of their Human Body unit, Grade 3 welcomed back former CJDS Science Teacher, Alex Treyger, to lead a demonstration of the digestive system. Alex and her many student volunteers simulated the digestive process of human waste using several breakfast foods. There was no shortage of giggles when they discussed and watched the exit step! The demonstration was a fascinating lesson for students to understand the ways in which the body functions, and we thank Alex for returning to demonstrate what is always a well-loved tradition in the Grade 3 Human Body unit.
