Last Tuesday was a momentous day in Grade 2! Each student received their very own chumash, the first five books of Torah, along with a piece of chocolate to acknowledge the sweet words of the Torah. They learned with Director of Judaic Studies, Tamar Cytryn, about the significance of this printed and bound version of the Torah, including how we can use it as a daily guide to improve ourselves and the world we live in through Tikkun Olam.
