On Tuesday, Grade 1 students met a new fuzzy friend, Ariot (lion), to build excitement for the upcoming year of Hebrew learning. Ariot is the main character in the TALaM workbooks series that students use to learn Hebrew each day. Together with their Hebrew teachers, Morot Penina and Nechama, they reviewed the first Hebrew letter, alef, sang the Alef Bet, and began their lesson. A warm scene unfolded as they enjoyed five minutes exploring their new workbooks.
