Grade 1 students were excited to welcome a new fuzzy and exuberant friend, Ariot (shhhh it's Morah Shayna), who represents the main character in the TALaM workbooks series that students use to learn Hebrew. Together, with their Hebrew teachers Morot Penina and Nechama, they began learning the first Hebrew letter, alef, and sang the Alef Bet. Students also enjoyed the tactile activity of creating their own "alefs" out of playdough.
