LET’S GO!
For “L Day” in their ABC Countdown, Grade 1 students exclaimed, “Let's go on a field trip!” That became the inspiration for Wednesday's trip to ABC7 Studios in downtown Chicago! Thanks to the generosity of Parent Mayrav Dolgin, students had the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of Chicago’s busiest news stations.
During the visit, students watched a real meteorologist film a weather segment, stepped in front of a green screen to experience television magic firsthand, and learned about the many jobs that help bring the news to life each day. They even enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert on the Hulu floor while taking in the incredible city views.
From weather forecasts to green-screen fun, the day was packed with excitement, learning, and unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to Mayrav for making this amazing experience possible!
