CJDS Celebrates 100 Days of Learning
  • Lower School
  • Math

Today was exceptionally celebratory because it's the 100th day of school! In Kindergarten, each student brought 100 items from home to create a museum of their items and “shopped” among their classmates’ treasures to make a 100th Day goody bag.

Grade 1 students wore homemade 100-Day shirts and necklaces while participating in math, art, Hebrew, and literacy activities focused on the number 100. They also thought about and recorded the many things they now know that they didn't know 100 days ago!

Grade 2 students were paired up for an exciting STEM project. With 100 toothpicks and 100 marshmallows, they were tasked with building a creative structure.

Grade 3 students participated in a math-themed escape room. This interactive activity challenged them to solve math problems while working collaboratively to unlock clues, fostering teamwork and critical thinking skills.
