Susie Fox Lorge has been a Kindergarten Teacher for over 15 years, serving as the primary teacher for a full day kindergarten program. Susie was also the Tfillah instructor, creating a worship experience for the joint kindergarten program. In addition, she developed and taught integrated curriculum with Judaic and Hebrew language, planned dance and music curriculum and coordinated special family programs. Prior to her work as a kindergarten teacher she taught preschool for 5 years.
Susie is the lead vocal in the celebrated singing group Kol Sasson which has performed throughout the United States. Kol Sasson has 2 CD recordings. She and her husband, Michael, are co-founders of the Greater Chicago Jewish Folk Arts Festival. She spent many summers at Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute as a counselor, Hebrew teacher, Israeli dance instructor, song leader, and unit head.
Susie graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a certificate in Jewish Studies. The Lorges have four children.
