Wendy received both her Bachelors and her Masters of Arts degrees in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from the American University in Washington, DC. After Graduate School she did a five year stint in Colorado. While there, she worked in the public school system and then transitioned to a more financial focus. She was on the opening team for the Ritz-Carlton, Aspen Accounting Department. After three years she expanded to opening her own consulting firm, Accountable Ink! She moved that firm back to Chicago where she was born and raised and she spent the next 10 years focusing on accounting and streamlining processes for families, small firms as well as corporate clients. She loves business and entrepreneurial ideas. Her two sons, Sam and Jacob, are currently enjoying Junior Kindergarten and Third grade at CJDS.
