Alex feels at home at CJDS having grown up in Jewish Day Schools and graduating from Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and Elementary Education certification from Muhlenberg College and completed her Early Childhood Certificate as well as a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction at National-Louis University. Prior to coming to CJDS, Alex taught for two years at Jewish Council for Youth Services, followed by a semester studying together with her husband Danny at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Alex enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors, and is excited about her fifth year at CJDS.
