Affiliations
Chicago Jewish Day School is supported by wonderful resources locally and nationally. Locally, CJDS has the strong support of our community Conservative, Orthodox and Reform rabbis, the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF), Associated Talmud Torahs (ATT) and the Community Foundation for Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago (CFJE).
Nationally, CJDS is a member of RAVSAK, the Jewish Community Day School Network, and is a grantee of the prestigious Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education (PEJE), a national collaborative initiative of philanthropic partners committed to strengthening Jewish day school education in North America. CJDS is also affiliated with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and Independent School Management (ISM).
The community that has evolved around our school is nurturing and warm. Our daughters are speaking Hebrew, doing complex math problems, reading stories, creating paintings and exhibiting important values that are crucial to being good Jews and Chicagoans.
